Update Your Shipping Address After a Move

Moving your store can be both exciting and overwhelming. If you are a user of one of MVB’s electronic ordering services, Pubeasy or Pubnet, here are some tips to keep your shipments arriving smoothly:

  1. If the store’s move is related to a change of ownership, please let us know.
     
  2. In advance of your move, make a spreadsheet of your vendors, bill-to and ship-to account numbers, and an email address for customer service or your sales rep. Also include entries for:
    1. MVB (use your Pubnet SAN or Pubeasy username for the account number and supportUS@mvb-online.com for the contact)
    2. Optional: Add Bowker if you possess a SAN (SAN as your account number, san@bowker.com as the contact).
       
  3. Double-check that your list is complete and includes wholesalers, publishers, and sideline vendors.
     
  4. Once you are ready to receive shipments at your new address (usually after any buildout, but it could be prior to your official grand opening), send individual emails to each contact providing your account number(s) and new address and specifying whether both your billing and shipping addresses should be updated or only your shipping address.
     
  5. Make sure to receive a confirmation of the address update from the supplier before placing a new order with them through Pubeasy or Pubnet. Note: Our services do not send shipping information with your orders. Instead the suppliers pull that information from their own database each time. MVB uses your shipping address during the account linking process only.
