Order from a New Supplier
Prerequisites
You can set up a new Pubnet supplier at any time, so long as your account meets these prerequisites:
- The supplier is on our list.
- Your account is already set up and you know your shipping account number.
- Your account is a terms account (not prepaid with a credit card)
Email Your Supplier
Before sending your initial order to a supplier, it is important to email them your SAN and shipping account number so they can link the two in their fulfillment systems. Orders sent before this "linking" process is completed may be subject to delays. Here's a template email you can use:
Dear Rep,
I have signed up for Pubnet and want to enable electronic ordering in my POS. Please have this activated on your end for my account number <insert # >. My SAN is <insert #> and my shipping address is <insert address>.
Please confirm when you are ready for my electronic orders.
Regards,
Bookseller
